This series explores interspecies love and bestiality, creating emotionally charged constellations that are at once vulnerable, violent, and tender. The bodies are fluid and entangled, the watercolour literally bleeding the forms together. These points of contact between species, rendered in vivid stains of color, gesture towards a mutual transformation.
This formal intermingling unfolds within a discourse keen on dismantling the conceptual divisions between nature and culture, asking instead, what kind of reciprocity exists between human and non-human entities: how might we shape each other’s worlds in a post-industrial landscape, and moreover, how might we learn from animals? What can they teach us about politics, about resilience, about care?
