In this body of work, human forms mutate via their adoption of animal forms, at times merging with the appendages of horses, deer and jellyfish. The medium of watercolor becomes a formal means of conveying the viscerality of this dreamed interspecies possibility, as blotches of color bleed into and outside of the human figures and pulsate within the jellyfish whose tentacles become objects of joy, intimacy, and communion.
